In 2015, MTNers invested in inclusive education notably the construction of classrooms and refurbishment of toy libraries for visually impaired children, sensitisation of pygmies on the importance of education and distribution of school kits and other didactic materials to this community.
We invested in sustainable and new digital world projects that support Government’s priority. We decided to devote our Main Campaign to the education of disabled children, considered by the Ministry of Social Affairs as a key priority. There are as many as 100,000 visually impaired in Cameroon with just one government school reserved for them. We want to walk the talk and show, through the supported initiatives that, the inclusion of children with disabilities is possible. Therefore the 08 classrooms and dormitory we constructed for CEFPAMAVOC in Douala and CJARC in Yaounde are profitable to the beneficiary population.
